Tactacam Reveal Cellular Camera. Most know Tactacam from its premium POV action cameras—but it’s used that technology to build one of the most-exciting new cellular trail cameras we’ve seen, complete with supporting app. The new Reveal by Tactacam ($119.99) is not only nicely affordable, but is also unusually user-friendly. The unit is up and ready with a quick scan of the color LCD screen, and takes less than two minutes to set up. Standout Reveal features include ease of setup with the Tactacam Reveal app, and it’s built to detect animals up to 96+ feet away. You’ll also find 24 MP images, and adjustable night illumination. And of course, the ability to keep your hunting area undisturbed while scouting and taking inventory of your animals, with the convenience of using just your phone. The Tactacam Reveal offers monthly plans starting as low as $5 a month (USA: ATT and Verizon), which allows photos to be temporarily stored in the Cloud and then be reviewed and managed either on the Reveal app or an SD card.

LaCrosse Lodestar. Here’s a gift most any sportsman could use. Known more for its rubber-boot styles versus boots you can take confidently into the backcountry, LaCrosse is changing that perception with the new 7-inch Lodestar ($220), the latest addition to its Navigator Series. Packed with premium components including a Gore-Tex waterproofing and exclusive Vibram outsole, the Lodestar is built to deliver serious stability and comfort with a new lightweight, full-length shank system that’s designed to disperse weight evenly underfoot and offering torsional rigidity for support on rugged terrain.

HIVIZ LiteWave H3 CompSight. Outfit your favorite slug gun with a bead that really stands out. The CompSight has been the standard sight for shotgun-toting hunters at the highest level for years, and it just got better. HIVIZ has combined tritium elements with its legendary LitePipe technology to create the HIVIZ LiteWave H3 CompSight ($55) with 24-hour illumination to light your way to success. These all-steel-constructed sights are rugged, durable, and designed for the roughest use and may be easily picked up by your peripheral vision in any lighting condition so you can get on target faster. The LiteWave H3 CompSight comes with a Green LitePipe and fits most vent-ribbed shotguns with removable front bead. The sight includes five screws in varying thread sizes to fit nearly any shotgun: 3-56/2.5mm x .45mm; 5-40; 6-48; 3mm x .5; 3mm x .6.

The choice of either the Ballistic E3 Illuminated or Plex reticle delivers accurate shots both near and far. Precise side parallax focus, push/pull and zero-stop locking turrets give shooters complete control. Signature HD riflescopes are waterproof, shockproof and fog proof and come with the Burris Forever Warranty.

Leupold SX-2 Alpine HD Spotting Scope. Give a gift that will help lead to their next trophy. Built for the harshest conditions, the SX-2 Alpine HD delivers the performance that dedicated hunters and shooters want and need. Two models are available, both in an angled configuration: one a 20-60x60mm model, the other a 20-60x80mm (shown above). You’ll see more in less light thanks to the Twilight Max Light Management System, which intensifies ambient light in extreme low-light environments, and provides excellent glare management to drastically reduce image wash-out. A generous eyebox, meanwhile, helps eliminate eye-strain and fatigue, while an oversized eyepiece ensures comfortable viewing all day long. Leupold has engineered the SX-2 Alpine HD to deliver unparalleled optical quality in its class. The Diamondcoat lenses are scratch-resistant and will stand up to the roughest conditions. High definition lens coatings provide for bright, clear images, and its Guard-ion lens coating sheds dirt and water with ease. The SX-2 Alpine HD is waterproof, fogproof, and guaranteed for life.

Savage Renegauge In Mossy Oak Camo. Why not gift one of the hottest new semi-auto shotguns on the planet? Best known for its rifles, Savage has introduced the Renegauge that’s available in Turkey, Field, and Waterfowl models (shown above in Mossy Oak Obsession (top) and Bottomland camo). The gun’s self-regulating, dual-valve gas system cycles the lightest to heaviest loads without missing a beat. With an upgrade to the company’s AccuFit stock system, the Renegauge’s LOP and comb height can be tailored with the included inserts. It’s designed to provide high weight retention, deep penetration, and lethal terminal performance, both up close and at extreme distances. Several key elements include solid-shanked and bonded bullet construction that aid in expansion and penetration. AccuChannel grooving improves accuracy across a range of rifles, while decreasing barrel wear and fouling. And the Slipstream heat-resistant polymer tip generates easy expansion, even at low velocities. Current cartridge options include 6.5 Creedmoor 130-grain, 6.5 PRC 130-grain, 270 Win. 136-grain, 270 WSM 136-grain, 280 Ackley Improved 155-grain, 28 Nosler 155-grain, 7mm Rem. In addition to its ability to comfortably seat one, two, three or four adults, including cargo, the Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Limited Edition (starting at $25,299) features an ingenious storage system for cargo flexibility. In addition to aggressive front end styling and rugged tires you’ll find all-new stealthy front LED headlights and “evil eye” marker lights that give this new generation a distinctive look on the trail, and the LED taillight, brake light, and reverse light provide added visibility. With its eye-catching colors, the Wolverine RMAX4 1000 Limited Edition’s appearance is rivaled only by its trail-dominating performance.

Bowtech Solution SD. Tired of settling for inferior performance just because you have a less-than-average draw length? Those days are over with the new-for-2021 Solution SD ($1,199.99) from Bowtech, one of five exciting new-for-2021 compounds from Bowtech that all bowhunters need to see. The Solution SD, able to attain speeds to 323 fps, was engineered for archers with shorter draw lengths who want the accuracy benefits of the company’s proven DeadLock cam system, optimized for draw lengths of 23 ½ to 28 ½ inches. The result is a silky draw and virtually no sound and vibration, a bow that Bowtech is calling the highest-performing short draw bow ever built. The compact 30-inch axle-to-axle frame with forgiving 7-inch brace height makes it ideal for any number of hunting applications, from stalking western mountains to maneuvering in a treestand or ground blind. Mass weight is just 3.9 pounds.

Xpedition MX-16. With a goal of “breaking the mold,” Xpedition rolled out several new bows for 2020 including its MX-16 ($1,099) flagship, built with a goal of delivering maximum durability and the smoothest shot cycle on the market. It also features enhanced limb pockets, a forged riser, and cams that can customize the backwall. The newly designed HDS cam allows users to manipulate the feel and performance, with the ability to run limb or cable stops. The limb stop creates a rock-solid back wall and the cable stop allows for a more cushioned feel. The 6-inch brace height MX-16 measures 32.75 inches axle to axle, weighs 4.2 pounds and delivers speeds to 352 fps. Six available riser colors and three limb colors include Realtree Excape.

Mathews V3 27 & V3 31. Choices, choices. Two great new-for-2021 compounds include the V3 27 (shown above) and V3 31—($1,199; named for their axle-to-axle lengths)—both with 6-inch brace height, and featuring some neat innovations all bowhunters need to know about. Four sweet new innovations start with the V3’s NEW Centerguard Cable Containment system that places the roller guard in the true center of the bow, designed to deliver optimal cam timing to maximize tunability, while also adding additional vane clearance. You’ll also find new deflected Limbs and past-parallel geometry, paired with redesigned Limb Cups, with a goal of cutting weight while increasing performance and efficiency. The goal of the V3’s new Extended Bridged Riser is to increase stability, which of course increases accuracy. Mathews bows have long been known for their silence and dead-in-hand performance at the shot, and stealth was again a top priority for the new V3. The result is the new Nano 740 damping system, which includes both a new extended position to provide added balance at full draw, and it’s also calibrated and tuned to the specific harmonics of the new bows.

Maven RF.1 Rangefinder. Looking for a cutting-edge gift? Maven’s first-ever rangefinder, the RF.1 ($400) offers 7x magnification and is capable of ranging animals out to 2,700 yards, and reflective targets out to 4,500 yards. It also features unique field/forest modes to help you receive faster and more accurate ranges. For example, adjust the menu dial on the side of the unit to “Field” if you see a buck 1,500 yards away across the drainage, and it will pick up the first thing that it hits. If your target is hiding behind a few layers of trees, switch the knob to “Forest” mode and the laser will ignore the trees and pick up the buck. The rangefinder also features an adjustable eye piece and an adjustable brightness display (5 levels). And for those venturing into the high country, the RF.1 offers angle-compensated distances.

Sitka Jetstream Jacket. One of the original and most popular Sitka designs, the Jetstream Jacket ($349) was built for active mountain pursuits in cold weather. A workhorse of a softshell, this jacket features strategically located seam lines to shed water while a Gore-Tex Infinium with WindStopper laminate will stop heat sapping winds while moving sweat and moisture through the system to keep you focused on the hunt. Traditionally only available in hunting colors, new everyday Lead (shown above) and Tidal colors are available for the 2020 holiday season.
