Timmney Ruger Precision Rimfire Stright Two Stage Trigger

Posted by Roger LeGare on Aug 14th 2019

This New Trigger was easier to install than the Timmney Trigger for my 6mm Creedmoor Ruger Precision Rifle. This new model Trigger for the Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle was very easy to install and works just as well as I expected.
I highly recommend this trigger to anyone that owns a Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle.

    Best 2-stage trigger around

Posted by Anthony on Jul 2nd 2019

I’ve owned a lot of triggers, including the AR triggers with a G on them, the Canadian brand (TT) frictionless roller equipped triggers, along with plenty of others, but this is the absolute best feeling 2-stage trigger I have ever used. I’m now considering removing/selling a number of my 2-stage triggers to replace them with Timber 2-stages.

    Ruger Precision Rimfire

The factory trigger that came with my Ruger Precision Rimfire wasn't too bad. But, I thought there may be more to squeeze out of that rifle. As soon as it was available I bought a Timney trigger to replace the OEM trigger.

Man, what a fine piece of engineering. Easy install. Good first stage pull, crisp and smooth second stage. I haven't gotten in on the range yet (tomorrow). But I can tell it's going to be a good modification.

    Trigger for Ruger Precision Rimfire

Posted by Ron on Jun 17th 2019

The trigger looks very good. Install is simple and pull weights are 8 oz on the first stage and 1 lb on the second, per my Timney trigger gauge. Have not shot it yet since I am waiting on an aftermarket barrel.

Drop in Trigger Ruger Precision Rimfire

Posted by Chris on Jun 14th 2019

Excellent upgrade for the Ruger Precision Rimfire. It took less than 5 minutes to install and is everything I would expect from Timney. I could not even feel stage 1 and stage 2 is effortless and clean. I would suggest letting the purchaser know how to tell if they need the shim. “Older Model” is not always obvious because manufacture of rifle is not the same as purchase of rifle. Also, you may also want to explain that the trigger does not lock in place like the factory trigger. Slides right in but is loose until you assemble the rifle. But these are just suggestions and do not have a bearing on my rating. I highly recommend this trigger to anyone who can afford it.
