They asked for a high performance trigger that could withstand heavy usage and would aid them in maintaining their accuracy while shooting. We love a good challenge, so of course our engineers quickly went to work to design the AR-15 Competition Trigger so our customer could feel confident in their shooting abilities.
Because it was made by Timney engineers, this trigger has some amazing features we know AR-15 shooters will be excited about. The trigger hammer is precision machined by our wire-EDMs from S7 tool steel for extra strength hardness that ensures durability and reliability. The other parts, such as the trigger shoe and sear, are also precision machined by our wire-EDMs and made from A2 steel and heat treated to 56 rockwell for lifelong service. All of these trigger parts are held in a lightweight aluminum alloy housing that allows this trigger to give that crisp, clean break every shooter desires. Along with a crisp break with zero creep, this trigger offers a range of pull weights from 3lbs. up to 4.5lbs. The best part about the AR-15 Competition Trigger is it is a true drop-in trigger that uses the original hammer/trigger springs, so there is no need to worry about getting a gunsmith to install your trigger. We thought of everything, so you don’t have to. All you have to worry about is whether you want a straight, curved, or skeletonized trigger shoe.
