Introducing The New Lever Action Trigger For The S&W® 1854 Series

Timney Triggers, the world's oldest and largest trigger manufacturer, has been asked to create an upgraded trigger for the S&W® Model 1854 series of centerfire rifles. Our engineers took a look at the rifle and designed a trigger with features that modern lever action shooters need for elevated accuracy and reliability. We are pleased to announce the release of the new Timney Lever Action Trigger for the S&W® 1854 Series.

Coming off the recent announcement of our very successful Marlin Lever Action trigger, the new replacement trigger for the 1854 Series was a natural fit in our new line of Lever Action Triggers.

The Lever Action Trigger for the S&W® 1854 Series is easy to install and features a non-adjustable, factory-set pull weight of 2.5 – 3 pounds. The new trigger showcases the exceptionally crisp and smooth feel one has come to expect from a Timney Trigger and will aid shooters in their quest for accuracy.

All components of this complete trigger assembly are wire EDM cut to ensure all parts hold the tightest tolerances. The trigger shoe, sear, and hammer strut are cut from A2 tool steel and are hardened for remarkable wear resistance. The hammer is cut from S7 tool steel that is hardened for shock-resistance and long-lasting strength. The whole trigger assembly was designed and manufactured to last a lifetime of dependable service.
