Overview
Designed to work with all Model 870 shotguns, the Trigger Fix allows the user to have a clean, smooth, fully adjustable trigger pull. Every Timney 870 Trigger Fix is packaged with a sear, 3 pull weight springs and a hex head wrench. Simply choose a spring (light, medium, or heavy) and then fine tune the pull weight with the hex head wrench for a precise setting.

I purchased this for my 7600, and let me tell you, it is awesome!!! My 7600 went from 6 1/2lbs trigger pull to just over 2 lbs with the lightest spring. You may need minor fitting by a gunsmith to work properly. I just ordered 2 more, one for my other 7600, and one for my 7400. Thanks Timney!!

Could this be used on a Remington 1100 Competition shotgun? I shoot trap and hate the trigger pull on the 1100.

It says that the trigger fix kit will work with all models of the 870, but how about all gauges?

i bought my 870 about 25 years ago. i put a hastings slug barrel and a leupold scope on it and it has been a dedicated deer gun ever since. for 25 years i have been complaining about the trigger mech on this gun. how delighted i was to learn that timney had addressed this problem. i bought the kit and installed it myself. WOW, huge difference. easy to install. cant wait to go out and shoot some groups with it now. 100% improvement !!!
