I recently purchased a Timney trigger for my M77 mkII 308. After installing the trigger and before any adjustment I tried the trigger and could instantly tell the difference in triggers.
Coming from Australia it was the best $200 I have spent on a rifle, worth every cent

Even after reading the reviews about how easy this instalation is, I was a little worried, but it was everything I read! I followed the directions to the letter and now have a much better shooting .270!!! I can't wait to see how some of my quality ammo groups now! thanks for the great product!

This trigger will make your M77 mkll a bone collecting machine in the deer woods. Installation was easy it took about 1 hr to install but thats because i was extra careful with setting the safety correctly. My M77 now has a more crisp and smooth trigger than a $2000 sako. By far the best money i have spent since the recession started or ever on a firearm. Thanks timney for great product and service with handling my order.

I have a Ruger MK ll 300 and a 338 mag. both with Timney triggers, You could not ask for a more crisp smooth trigger pull. Best money I've ever spent on the two rifles. period!!!!!.

Amazing the difference a good trigger can make. Went from an extraordinary effort to hold the rifle on target while pulling the stock trigger...~8# with a mile of creep...to a clean crisp 1.5# with zero creep. Very nice.

The original trigger on my M77 .30-06 seemed like it had a mile of trigger pull, a gritty mile at that. The break was inconsistent and very heavy. The new Timney trigger set at 3# breaks clean and smooth. I recommend it for anyone who is not COMPLETELY happy with your factory trigger. Installation was easy and adjustment was straightforward.

Great trigger. I have 3 MKII's and have Timney triggers on all of them. After I installed the trigger on the first rifle and went to the range, I immediately ordered 2 more for my other rifles. I cannot stress the improvement it makes to your accuracy in the field. The stock triggers are a detrimate to the great quality gun.Again, Great triggers...

I just installed a Timney trigger in my all weather Ruger MKII M77 .270. It is awesome!!!! It had a tad bit of creep in it when I first put it in but it was easy to dial the creep out with a slight adjustment with the allen wrench provided. I am quite sure my groups will be tighten and the deer in South Carolina have a little more to fear. Thanks for a great product.

LIke all of Timney's products, this is perhaps the best upgrade you can make to your rifle, just as important as the sighting system that you put on it.
The Ruger M77 mkII is a wonderful rifle, cursed only by a poor trigger. Here is the cure! Easy to install, breaks crisply and is adjustable. The finest trigger I've ever pulled, and I've pulled more than a few.
